PMMS In Asia
With offices in Hong Kong since 1994, the PMMS presence in the region expanded in 2002 with the opening of PMMS Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and PMMS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd based in Singapore.
Our new South East Asia companies are headed by Graham Rice who has extensive experience throughout the region having previously been running a purchasing operation there for a major multinational. Graham will be working with our clients in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. In addition to our activities in these countries, NRI, our negotiation skills subsidiary has expanded its capabilities to offer Japanese and Korean language training programmes.
Richard May, Managing Director of PMMS Asia Pacific Ltd, based in Hong Kong leads a rapidly growing team of consultants headed by Senior Consultant Theresa Rynard. Theresa’s leading edge purchasing experience in the region - particularly in China – is being put to good use by our clients in a wide range of business sectors including Utilities, Construction, Banking and Telecommunications. Recent assignments have included a major change programme, development of business-wide outsourcing strategies, implementation of our SASP process and supply market analysis.
Our skills development services for procurement professionals is spearheaded by our team of tutors who lead the 12 month Graduate Diploma Programme of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply. Begun in 1997, this comprehensive provides a best practice benchmark for corporate sponsors from across Asia. A key feature of the course is the Project module which ensures that the syllabus is linked directly into the workplace.
